Important information about connecting and locking the breathing valve to the S-mask
We have had reports of silicone exhalation membranes that have become softer during diving in chlorate (pool) water. In special cases, when emptying the breathing valve under water, the membrane can slide on the diaphragm ring and lose its sealing function.
When diving in waters that are contaminated with sand and mud the DIVATOR Hatch could be difficult to open and close, and this is caused by dirt that is deposited on the moving parts of the valve.
This problem can easily be remedied by cleaing and lubricating the Hatch, as described below.
If the strain on the supply hose repeatedly subjects the hose to excessive bending, there is a risk that the material will eventually wear out.
This wearing out of the material risks leading to a leakage/rupture in the hose.
The life time for high pressure hoses (300 bar) is a maximum of eight years. In order to replace hoses older than eight year there is an exchange offer which is described below.
Discontinued sales of products listed below.

Interspiro has been informed that some Communication Lines have been delivered with a too short reliving loop.
This can make the reliving loop slip on the communication line when subjected to force. In order to make sure that the reliving loop on the communication line is correctly made, the following measurement can be done.
