INTERSPIRO FIREFIGHTING. There are hundreds of thousands of our SCBA/BA sets in use all over the world. All carrying unique features that we were first to develop and introduce to the field of respiratory protection. Many of these features are today standards in fire fighting equipment.

In our efforts to improve the safety conditions for fire fighters we developed positive pressure, based on technology from our experience with fighter aircraft breathing systems. Other important milestones include the introduction of SCBA/BA computers and Spirolite composite cylinders.

Interspiro has 70 years of experience with regulator technology and the design of respiratory protection. Since the beginning our mission has been to improve safety for work in non-breathable environments; to protect those that protect others.
capacity is everything
In extreme working conditions the airflow capacity of the breathing valve is highly critical. Muscles aching from strain require enormous quantities of air for peak performance. The QS II S breathing valves and the QS II Plug-in regulators from Interspiro are outstanding in terms of airflow capacity.
But not only do the SCBA/BA provide sufficient air in all situations; it also maintains a steady air supply along the entire pressure range from a fully filled cylinder until the cylinder is nearly empty.
CBRN
Terrorist threats bring the front line to home. In the aftermath of 9/11 first responders must be able to operate in environments previously known only as worst-case scenarios for military units.
Interspiro is at the technology forefront in the development of CBRN approved SCBA equipment. The first and the third CBRN approval ever were given to SCBA sets from Interspiro. In order to provide the best possible protection for first responders and military personnel our R&D team spend a tremendous amount of time to improve protection against chemical and biological threats.

The Spiromatic S7 offers the most extensive all hazard protection available, and is the seventh generation SCBA from Interspiro.
