AB delivers next-generation SCUBA to
Swedish Armed Forces

In open competition from FMV (the
Swedish Defence Material Administration)
Interspiro was awarded the contract for
supplying the Swedish Armed Forces with
their next generation SCUBA equipment, LUFTDYKAPPARAT
04.
FMV awarded the contract after
extensive testing undertaken by divers,
medical staff and underwater operations
experts from all branches of the Swedish
Armed Forces. The tests were part of an
open contract competition with several participating
contractors.
The SCUBA equipment preferred by FMV is
a modified version of Interspiros reliable
and well-proven diving equipment MK II.
The modifications were made in accordance
to FMVs specifications. The SCUBA set is
delivered with state of the art composite
cylinders.
LUFTDYKAPPARAT 04 will be the Swedish Armed
Forces general applications SCUBA for the
next decade.
The contract is signed for 375 complete
SCUBA units, including two Spirolite full
composite cylinder packs to every SCUBA
unit.
