COMMLINK is a communication system
developed for noisy environments. Speech is transmitted
over vibrations in the jaw bone. Commlink is available
in two versions Custom Made and One-Fit-All (OFA)
version.
One major difference between Custom-Made and OFA
is that OFA cannot shield off surrounding noise as
efficiently as the individually shaped Custom-Made
version. Consequently, the Custom-Made version is
strongly recommended for work in environments with
extreme ambient noise levels.

The shape of
the ear piece is individually manufactured
to fit the user’s ear channel. It
houses a built in microphone and a loudspeaker.
The microphone is bone-conductive which
means that it picks up voice generated vibrations
in the jawbone. Due to this principle and
the fit of the ear piece in the user’s
ear, it does not pick up airborne sounds
such as ambient speech and noise. Therefore,
speech is transmitted to the recipient without
any reduction of sound quality, regardless
of the noise situation surrounding the person.
The loudspeaker clearly relays the transmission
from the communication partner and again,
the ear piece fit shields off external noise.
As the shape of the ear piece is ergonomically
made to fit firmly to the user’s ear
the ear piece is extremely comfortable to
wear for extended periods of time.

one-fit-all
The One-Fit-All
ear piece is manufactured to a shape that
fits approximately 95% of all ear channels.
The shape of the ear piece in combination
with the acrylic housing material and a
specially designed soft spring make the
CommLink One-Fit-All very comfortable to
wear, even for extended periods of time.
The quality of the users speech and the
possibility for the user to hear, loud and
clear, incoming communication is unrivalled
in comparison to other communication systems.
The moderate pressure of a soft spring towards
the back of the outer ear (concha) keeps
the ear piece safe in place, it will not
accidently fall out.
Like the custom made version the microphone
is bone-conductive with the loudspeaker
located in the ear piece.
